5-Day southern Pantanal Itinerary:
A Unique model of private expedition
The expedition lasts 4 nights and 5 days and crosses the southern Pantanal, passing through the microregions of Nhecolândia, Aquidauana, Miranda, Abobral, and Nabileque, covering approximately 1,200 km of roads and 500 km of river.
We believe that the journey is the experience, so enjoying the route between destinations is the best way to get to know the Pantanal!
Note: All days includes full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), except the 1st day (no breakfast) and the 5th day (only breakfast).
Itinerary Day 01
From Campo Grande to Rio Verde
We begin the expedition departing from Campo Grande towards Rio Verde de MT, where, amidst spectacular rocky formations, we are surprised by a panoramic view of the Nhecolândia Pantanal plain.
Day’s objective: Explore the Cerrado-Pantanal route and admire the landscape transition between these two biomes.

Itinerary Day 02
From Rio Verde to Passo do Lontra
In the early hours of the day, we are escorted by the Maracajú Mountain Range as we cross the Aquidauana Pantanal. As we bid farewell to it, we cross the Miranda Pantanal heading towards a safari along the Abobral Pantanal.
Day’s objective: Cross the Pantanal.

Itinerary Day 03
Nabileque Pantanal
Crossing the Paraguay River by ferry, we reach the extreme west of the Mato Grosso do Sul Pantanal, which we call Nabileque, where it is possible to contemplate the vigorous Urucum massif.
Day’s objective: Explore the Nabileque region.

Itinerary Day 04
River Expedition
Pantanal fauna and flora are distinct under any circumstances, but in the abundance of the river, they express themselves in a special way, making our river expedition provide an incomparable connection with nature.
Day’s objective: Have a unique perspective of the Pantanal.

Itinerary Day 05
Return to Campo Grande
Returning to Campo Grande, we pass through the Piraputanga road, where it is possible to appreciate the depths of the Maracajú Mountain Range and contemplate the route taken in a final panoramic view at the Paxixi lookout point.
